How DamageLog works
Four stages, run the same way on every asset in your fleet. Your phone is the camera. DamageLog is the evidence.
A fixed set of photo steps
At checkout, the employee opens the inspection on their phone and works through the required angles in order. The same steps run again at return, so the two sets line up.
Checkout against return
Matching angles are compared to surface areas that look different from how the asset went out. The comparison narrows the review, it does not decide anything.
An operator makes the call
Each potential finding is confirmed or dismissed by someone on your team, with room for a note explaining the decision.
One report per rental
The asset details, both inspections, and the confirmed findings are collected into a dated evidence report you can share or keep on file.
Setting up takes one pass
1. Add your assets
Unit number, category, and the basics for each unit.
2. Set the baseline
Photograph existing wear so it is never mistaken for new damage.
3. Create rentals
Each rental carries its own checkout and return inspection.
Built for phones, not clipboards
Employees run inspections in Safari or Chrome on the phone in their pocket — nothing to install, nothing to sync. Managers can review findings and reports on the same phone or on a desktop.
